Foundations of Playback – Autumn Workshop Series

Join Melbourne Playback Theatre Company for a fun and energising five week exploration of the Playback form this Autumn.

Learn core improvisation and performance skills, as well as the key elements of Playback theatre – how to listen deeply to stories, how to access metaphor and imagery, how to work as an ensemble to perform a true story. This course will leave participants with a thorough understanding of the foundations of Playback theatre, and an expanded sense of themselves and their abilities.

Sink your teeth into ten delicious hours of Playback this winter – rediscover your sense of play, practice collaboration, open your ears and hearts to the stories of others, strengthen your spontaneity muscle, and have a whole lot of fun along the way.

No experience necessary. Those with some experience of Playback are also very welcome – the foundations are always worth returning to.

Take the leap!
