Stories Stories Stories – Workshop Series
This workshop is aimed at participants who have attended our “Crate Expectations” or “In Full Flight” workshop series’, and creates space to dig more deeply into the story form. Melbourne Playback shows are separated into two parts, moments and stories, and for this workshop participants focus in how to listen to stories, and transform those stories into theatre.
Enquire more deeply into performing our long form ‘stories’, with this four week intensive, exploring the story form. This workshop will create space to explore the shaping, structuring, characterising and ensemble work which occurs within the story form.
Expect to play, laugh, take risks, have heaps of fun, and find different ways of being!
This is a physical workshop (wear movement clothing!), and all abilities are welcome to participate as their bodies, capacities and energy allow.
The facilitators for this workshop will come from the Melbourne Playback ensemble, and will be announced closer to the dates.
